1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and OXRIDGE Online Tuition (“OXRIDGE”, “we”, “us”). They apply to our tuition classes, our website oxridgeonlinetuition.com, our online portal and the OXRIDGE Android app. By booking a class, registering, or using the portal or app, you agree to them.
If you are registering a child, you agree to these terms on the child's behalf and are responsible for the account. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
2. Our services
We provide live online tuition for school students in a range of subjects, classes and curricula, delivered one-to-one or in small batches. Our online portal and app let administrators, teachers, students and parents view classes, schedules and attendance.
3. Enrolment & registration
- Please give accurate, complete information when registering and keep it up to date.
- Registrations made through our public links are reviewed before they are approved. We may decline or cancel a registration at our discretion.
- A free trial class, where offered, is for assessing fit and does not commit you to enrol.
- Class allocation, teacher and schedule are confirmed by us after enrolment and may change with notice.
4. Accounts & logins
- Logins are created by OXRIDGE; a password set-up link is emailed to you. Keep your password private and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
- You are responsible for activity under your login. Parents are responsible for their children's use.
- We may keep someone's details on file without giving them a login, and we may switch a login off — for example when a student leaves, or to protect the account.
5. Classes & attendance
- Please join on time with a working device, a stable internet connection and a quiet place to study.
- Teachers record attendance for each class; parents and students can see it in the portal and app.
- If you need to miss or reschedule a class, let us know as early as you can. Whether a missed class can be rescheduled depends on the arrangement agreed at enrolment.
- If we have to cancel a class, we will try to give notice and offer another time.
6. Fees & payments
Fees, payment schedules and any refund or cancellation terms are agreed with you at enrolment and confirmed in writing (for example by email or WhatsApp). Please pay on time; we may pause classes while fees are overdue. Fees may change with reasonable notice, and changes will not apply to periods you have already paid for.
7. Conduct & safety
We want every class to be safe and respectful. Students, parents and teachers must not:
- record, photograph, share or publish classes, or other students' or teachers' images or details, without permission;
- share class links or logins with anyone else;
- behave in a way that is abusive, bullying, discriminatory or disruptive; or
- try to access information they are not entitled to, or interfere with the portal or app.
We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these rules. Please report any safeguarding concern to us immediately at oxridgeonlinetuition@gmail.com.
8. Teachers
Applying through our teacher registration link does not guarantee an engagement. Teachers who work with us must keep student information confidential, use it only to teach, and follow these terms and any agreement they have with us.
9. Our content
Our website, app, logo, lesson materials and worksheets belong to OXRIDGE or our licensors. Enrolled students may use class materials for their own learning, but may not copy, sell or distribute them.
10. The OXRIDGE app
- We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app with your OXRIDGE account.
- We release updates from time to time. Some updates are required: older versions may stop working until you install the latest one.
- We work to keep the portal and app available, but they may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control.
- If you downloaded the app from Google Play, Google's terms also apply to that download; Google is not responsible for our services.
11. Our responsibility
We teach with care and skill, but every student is different and we cannot guarantee particular grades or exam results. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, for problems caused by your own device or internet connection, or for third-party services such as video-call platforms. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
12. Ending the service
You can stop classes or close your account by contacting us; any notice or fee arrangements agreed at enrolment will apply. You can ask us to delete your account and data from our account & data deletion page. We may end or suspend the service if these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute arises, please contact us first — most concerns can be resolved quickly and informally. Otherwise, disputes will be handled by the courts of India, without affecting any rights you have to bring a claim where you live.
14. Changes & contact
We may update these terms; the “Last updated” date shows the latest version, and we will tell account holders about significant changes. Questions: oxridgeonlinetuition@gmail.com · +91 70129 28486.
